Q: How can I book Rhapsody String Quartet for my function?

Q: Our wedding/function is in an unusual/remote location. Will you travel?
A: Yes. Rhapsody String Quartet are based in Glasgow, but we do regularly perform in Ayrshire, Edinburgh and across the central belt. We can travel further afield should you wish us to. Any travelling expenses incurred will be included in the quote.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: For a guide to our wedding ceremony and reception fees, please see our Wedding Music page, which provides a guide to our prices. For corporate events and other special occasions, please feel free contact us with details about your event for a quote.
Q: Do you only play classical music?
A: No. Although our repertoire is predominantly classical, we do have some more modern music and Scottish Traditional Music in there! And if there is a particular piece of music you want to hear at your function, whether it be a jazz standard, a theme from a film, something from the musicals or even a pop song, we can arrange it for you.
Q: Can you arrange an unusual piece of music for my wedding?
A: Yes! We offer a musical arrangement service as standard in our Gold Wedding Ceremony Package and Platinum Wedding Music Package.
Q: Can you provide a trio, duo or soloist?
A: We only ever appear as a full string quartet because all our music is arranged for four parts - it just wouldn't sound right if some of them were missing!
