Violin 1, Musical Director
Catriona has been studying violin since the age of 8, winning a High Achievers Award from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 1999 for her performance in her Grade 8 violin examination. Catriona went on to study solo performance as part of her BA Applied Music degree at the University of Strathclyde, graduating with honours in 2004.
Catriona is the Manager and Musical Director of Rhapsody String Quartet. As well as looking after the administrative side of the quartet, Catriona takes care of all the special arrangements for the requests our clients may have.
Catriona is also the guest orchestrator for Oceans 3 (Aberdeen) and Buzz (Inverurie).
